Advancing Cancer Research Through Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Our initiative aims to accelerate breakthroughs in cancer treatment and prevention through algorithmic understanding.
Our Mission
This project explores advanced treatment planning for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), combining mathematical modeling and machine learning to optimize outcomes.
Focus Areas
Phase 1:
Tumor Classification w/ Clinical Data
Phase 2:
Multimodal Tumor Classification
Phase 3:
Maximize TCP + Minimize NTCP
Featured Proposals, Progressions, and Posts
ML Study for Classification in HNSCC
Our final project focused on the first recommended "chunk". We dealt with different classification models, and Neural Networks to discover which model would help us classify our dataset without utilizing any ground truths or clean scans.
Update after meeting with Dr.Rahman
After meeting with our TA, Prakash, and our Professor, Dr. Rahman, we have updated our plan to break the project into three distinct parts.
ML Approaches for Adaptive Radiotherapy in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC)
Our initial proposal can be found here in two versions.
Our original version and a shortened version for clarity (which was our initial submission).
